Journalizing:
It is the process of recording the transactions of an organization in a chronological order. Based on these
Rules of Debit and Credit:
Following rules are followed for debiting and crediting different accounts while they occur in business transactions:
- Debit, all increase in assets, expenses and dividends, all decrease in liabilities, revenues and
stockholders’ equities . - Credit, all increase in liabilities, revenues, and stockholders’ equities, all decrease in assets, expenses.
T-account:
T-account is the form of the ledger account, where the journal
The components of the T-account are as follows:
a) The title of the account
b) The left or debit side
c) The right or credit side
It is prepared at the end of an accounting period listing all the ledgers and their balances. The total of the debit balances in the trial balance shall be equal to the total of the credit balances. It is prepared to check whether there is any mathematical error in the accounts.
To journalize: The transaction of Company H for May 31, 2015.

To post: The journal entries to the T-account accounts of Company H for May 31, 2015.
c)
To prepare: The trial balance of Company H for May 31, 2015.
