Business process:

• The business process is the process of identifying and fulfilling the requirements of the customers of an organization.
• Business process begins with the customers need and ends with its fulfillment.
• The activities need to complete the fulfillment are a chain task that include Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, and Customer service within the organization information flow.

Role of business process in organizations:

• In manufacturing and production, quality, design, price and many such related to the product are checked.
• In finance and accounting, statements of finance, accounts, credits and debits related to management are checked.
• Human resources are used for employment and its development.
• In sales and marketing, customer requirements, sales of the product and many others are involved.

Explanation of Solution

Relationship between information systems and business processes:

• Manual business processes are automated by Information systems and thus, it makes an organization more efficient.
• Whenever the information flow is modified by the information systems, the data and information will be available to a greater number of decision makers more quickly.
• Tasks can be performed simultaneously rather than sequentially, by speeding up the completion of business processes.
• New business models can also be driven by information systems, which perhaps wouldn’t be possible without the technology.
