To discuss:
Common terms used in pharmacology.
Introduction:
Pharmacology is the branch of science deals with the study of drugs and its mechanism of action inside the living system. Pharmacology is essential in the medical field which helps to understand the drug development for new diseases and drug production at a feasible rate.

Explanation of Solution
Pharmacology filed comprises of a variety of terms often used to describe the drugs and the mechanism of actions. Some common terms are given below:
Adverse drug reaction: It states the hyperactivity of a drug in an unexpected way which results in excessive response.
Antagonist: A drug which binds to one or more receptors in the body thereby brings the inhibitory action.
Bioavailability: It defines the drug absorption extent of the drug after its delivery route into the body
Pharmacokinetic: It defines the drug absorption, assimilation and
Pharmacognosy: It deals with the drugs obtained from natural sources like plants and animals.
Pharmacogenomics: It deals with the genetic factors involved in drug action and its mechanism.
Toxicity: It deals with the toxic nature of drugs and its mechanism which leads to a fatality.
Lethal concentration 50 (LC: 50): It refers to the amount of drug or chemical in water or in the air which is needed to bring the toxic level to the organism and kills 50% test individuals.
Lethal dose 50 (LD50): It refers to the single dose that applied dermally to kill 50% of the test animals.
Pharmacotherapeutics: It refers to the drugs which are used to treat ailments and disease.
Apart from the above terms, there are lot of terminologies used in pharmacology.
