The AMA does not allow doctors to be involved in a legally authorized execution. State executions are typically conducted by someone whose credentials are not known, and sometimes the person being executed is in visible pain and agony before death. The daughter can be considered an expert witness in a scenario like this because she has knowledge, education, and experience. That being said, her testimony can confirm that there was negligence.
