1NF (First Normal Form) :        

  • The first Normal form is considered as a basic requirement of the database.

  •  Each table should contain a single value attributes or column.
  •  Each record in a table needs to be unique.

2NF(Second Normal Form) :

  • A table is in second normal form if and only if it is in first normal form and it should not have a partial dependency.

Rules :              

  •  A table in first normal form.
