Distinguish between the saturated fatty acid from the unsaturated fatty acids and to also define the tem saturated.
About the difference between the cis stereoisomer and the Trans configuration and the cis configuration affect that have on the fatty acid chain structure.
Introduction:
Saturated fats are generated from the animal fats and these are majorly responsible for the heat disease that affects the coronary arteries. Consuming the saturated fats increases the cholesterol blood level that can risk lives of the affected people by giving heart disease and strokes.
Unsaturated fatty acids are generated from the animal or plants fats that have double carbon bonds. Trans unsaturated fatty acids increases the cholesterol levels in the body that can cause heart disease.
