In statistics central tendency is a central value for a probability distribution. It may also be defined as a center or location of the distribution.

The most important three measures of central tendency are mean, median, and mode.

Mean is the average value of a set of observation.

Median is the middle most observation of a set of observation when all of the scores are arranged in ascending order.

Mode is the value with the greatest frequency of in a distribution.
