I think every culture has their own milestones like the quinceañera. Something a bit similar to the quinceañera celebration is Sweet Sixteen in the United States. In a Sweet Sixteen celebration families in the United States and Canada can choose to celebrate the occasion with a small family party or they can choose to have a big party with expensive gowns and dresses. Like the quinceañera the main purpose is to celebrate the person becoming older and entering into a new stage of life.
Explanation of Solution
Another coming-of-age milestone would be when someone becomes eighteen years old. Even though there is no celebration involved during this milestone it is something to look forward to because it brings certain privileges with it.
