Introduction:

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It colonizes the lungs and also influences other body parts of the host. This bacterium is transmitted from person-to-person through a sneeze, coughs, and spits in the air. It is a contagious disease, but not easy to recognize.

Tuberculosis can be either primary tuberculosis or secondary tuberculosis. In primary tuberculosis the minimum infectious dose for lung is low; it would be around 10 bacterial cells. Secondary tuberculosis takes time to recover.
