Effect of increased renin secretion on secretion of aldosterone and effect of increased aldosterone secretion on sodium reabsorption.

Introduction:

There is a system involved with the kidneys and other parts in control of blood pressure. The system involved in regulating the blood pressure through renal blood flow and glomerular filtration rate is the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone. Renin is an enzyme secrete by the juxtaglomerular cells of kidneys in response to low blood pressure.
