Protectionists have an intense belief to protect U.S industries from foreign competition through trade restrictions as since World War II so as to promote the economic growth of the U.S from the competitive world, there has been a reduction in the global trade by implying few investment barriers & following non-discriminatory trading policies and especially protecting the workers from unfair trade practices.
