Fungi are the eukaryotic and multicellular organisms. They contain cell nucleus comprised of a genetic material which is surrounded by different membranes. Fungi are different from plant and animals. Fungi depend on other organisms for food consumption while plant makes their own food. Fungi are also different to animals as animals lack cell wall while fungi contain a cell wall.

Introduction:

Antimicrobial drugs like antibacterial and antifungal drugs act against pathogenic bacteria and fungal species. They target the different cellular components and systems of microbes that lead to microbial death.
