Summary Introduction

To determine: The way in which the function of a gene in a genome database is annotated if the amino acid sequence in a protein that was obtained from the proteomics experiment was provided.

Introduction: Annotation indicates the record that is attached along with the sequence of DNA that helps in the database. The record consists of the gene’s information such as its structure, function, and also the product produced by the gene (RNA or protein). Its main aim is to include all the biologically relevant information about the genome’s DNA sequence.
