The notation of elements is written as ZAX.

X is the chemical symbol of isotope.

A is the mass number of isotope.

Z is the atomic number of the isotope.

The atomic number and proton number in element is same.

Atomic mass of the isotope is calculated by the sum of neutrons and protons present in nucleus.

The mass number is the sum of number of neutrons and number of protons. A=n+p where n is the number of neutrons and p is the number of protons and (A) is mass number.
