As the population of world rises, the production and consumption of material and goods also increases and leads to the production of huge amount of waste. Waste is the term that refers to any material that is unwanted and is a result of human activity. It can degrade the quality of soil, air, water, and human health. It also indicates inefficiency thus reducing the waste can save resources as well as money.

There are three main components of the waste management include:

(i) Decreasing the amount of the waste that is generated by human activities.

(ii) Recovering the discarded material and to search the ways to recycle them.

(iii) Disposal of the produced waste effectively and safely.

Practicing management of waste helps the environment and decreases the carbon footprints that humans are leaving every day. The effort of cutting back the trash or recycling it can decrease human ecological impact and can save lot of money as well.
