Summary Introduction

An adaptation is a way in which the body of the plants or animal help it to live or survive in an environment. Adaptation is useful to the living organisms in several ways, such as in obtaining food, building homes, attracting mates, and withstanding weather. For example, succulent plants in dry desserts or hot environment have adapted themselves to climate by storing water in their stem as well as leaves.
