The reproductive system of the human beings is responsible for the production of the offspring. The reproductive system of the males and females comprise the primary sex organs and the accessory sex organs. The primary sex organs are also called the gonads and are responsible for the production of the sex cells which are called the gametes. The gonads of the males are called testes which produce the male sex gamete sperms. The gonads or the primary sex organs of the females are ovaries and are responsible for the production of the female sex gamete egg or ovum.
