Concept Introduction

Le chatelier’s principle states that when a system is disturbed at equilibrium, the system shifts in the direction in order to offset the effect of disturbance.

The equilibrium constant is a measure of how far reaction will proceed. The greater the equilibrium constant the more forward reaction will proceed.
