There is not a single perspective that is used to explain all the mental processes and human behavior. There are total seven modern perspectives such as psychodynamic perspective, humanistic perspective, behavioral perspective, cognitive perspective, evolutionary perspective, biopsychological perspective and sociocultural perspective. Violence is a broad term which includes act that results from a powerful relationship such as intimidation and threats, acts or neglect of omission.

Whether violent behavior is something that can someday be removed from human behavior or at the very least be controlled.
