Introduction
A family of orientation is one a person is born or adopted into, and which socializes the youth into the culture. A family of procreation is created as adults choose to make a family of their own. Families of procreation may live in extended groups with the parents of either partner, or create their own household. Families of orientation are responsible for training their children to accept the norms, values and ways of life of their ancestors.
Explanation of Solution
Answer and explanation
Families of procreation are meant for reproduction as adults meet likely mates and have children. These couples may choose to live with either set of parents, or live on their own. After procreation, a family becomes an orientation family that is responsible for socialization into the culture. These families transmit the values and expectations of their ancestors to the new generation so that the society may continue.
