Introduction:
Cranial nerves are used to communicate to all parts of the body from the brain. It is of twelve types; 1 to 12 cranial nerves are present in our body. All cranial nerves enter the brain through the spinal cord. Each nerve has a distinctive function and a specific name. Cranial nerves are used to carry the sensory impulses from the brain to all parts of the body and vice versa. Cranial nerve I and II purely function as sensory nerves.
