The effects of Parkinson disease and basal nuclei lesions on the motor control.

Introduction:

The muscles are controlled by the mechanistic actions of cerebellum and basal nuclei. The basal nuclei helps in the beginning of some movements, like walking and learned behaviors. The cerebellum helps in the motor coordination of smooth muscles and some other muscles and joints by acting as a comparator in the brain. Any lesion in the basal nuclei and cerebellum leads to neurological disorder.
