Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Leading strand of DNA is that strand of DNA that is synthesized continuously. It is the strand in which the replication takes place in 5’ to 3’ direction or in the direction of the fork. Lagging strand is that strand in which the replication occurs discontinuously. In this strand the synthesis occurs with the help of short DNA fragments called the Okazaki fragments.
