System Development Life Cycle:
The procedure in which an information system is change or created a new one is known as system development life cycle. A framework can be designed for the planning and controlling with the help of system development life cycle.
The five stages of system development life cycle are as mentioned below:
- • Planning phase: A planning is an important factor for creating an information system. Planning phase mainly focuses on creating a project development plan.
- • Analysis phase: After completing the development plan, the analysis phase in system development life cycle is started. Analysis phase mainly focuses on collecting all the information that might be needed by a user.
- • Design phase: This phase focuses on the manner through which needs of users can be completed.
- • Implementation phase: All the activities that are required for creating new information system are examined and supervised in this phase.
- • Maintenance phase: All operations made by the system are controlled and maintained under this phase. If any operation requires an update then same will be provided to the system.
