Differences between physical distribution and channels of distribution:
- Physical distribution is the actual movement of goods that along the distribution path whereas, channels of distribution is the network of organization which connects producers to consumers.
- Physical distribution involves a network of transportation, warehousing, storage and final delivery at the destination, whereas, channels of distribution is the chain of individuals involved in the process of getting the product from producer to the customer.
