It is measured in terms of the maximum amount of solute that can be dissolved in the given amount of solvent. It depends on the intermolecular forces between the molecules. The stronger the intermolecular forces, the higher will be the solubility.

Boiling point is the temperature at which the vapor pressure of the liquid becomes equal to the atmospheric pressure and the liquid changes to vapors. It depends on the number of carbon chains present in the molecule, branching, functional groups present in the molecule.
