• It shows an image of a slider knob that can be dragged along a track.
  • It can be oriented horizontally or vertically.
• “Slider” control is created with the help of “Slider” class.
  • It is present in the “javafx.scene.control” package.
• The range of “Slider” control is represented by a numeric value.
  • The minimum range’s value is present at the one end of “Slider”.
  • The maximum range’s value is present at the other end of “Slider”.
• A “Slider” control contains a numeric value, and as the user moves the knob along the track, the numeric value is adjusted correspondingly.
