Sensory muscle receptor that detects the tension generated during skeletal muscle contraction.
Introduction:
Whenever, there is a change occurs in muscles i.e. any mechanical or chemical change, the information goes to the central nervous system (CNS) through sensory receptors. These sensory receptors are located within muscles and joints or in the portion of skin. This kind of sensation is known as proprioception.
