Introduction:
In 1951, Solomon Asch conducted first of his studies with seven participants on conformity in an experiment on visual judgment. Asch found out that confederates mattered as: conformity increases with the addition of each new confederate until there were four confederates. It was also observed that conformity decreases if there was just one confederate that gave the accurate answer.
