Program Plan Intro

“System.out.print” statement:

• The “System.out.print” is a java statement used to print its argument into the “System.out”. The “System.out” is generally stdout.
• The “print()” method prints its arguments on the monitor.
• Example:

  //how to use print

  System.out.print(“Hello!”);

• The above statement will print “Hello!” on the monitor.

“System.out.println” statement:

• The “System.out.println” is a java statement used to print its argument into the “System.out”. The “System.out” is generally stdout.
• The one difference from “print()” method is “println()” method creates a newline after printing  its arguments on the monitor.
• This method is used when the user need output in separate lines.
• Example:

  //how to use println

  System.out.println(“Hello!”);

• The above statement will print “Hello!” on the monitor.
