Introduction:

TDifferent antibiotics have different types of modes of action. Erythromycin mechanism of action includes the inhibition of the protein synthesis inside the ribosomes by blocking the aminoacylation step. Tetracycline blocks the protein synthesis inside the bacterial cells by inhibiting the protein- mRNA complex inside the cell. Such compounds could be used in determining the proteins that are encoded by chloroplast and mitochondrial genome.
