To write:
General functions of each organ system.
Introduction:
There are majorly 11 organ systems in our body. They are:
1)
2) Respiratory system- Its function is to take in oxygen and give out carbon dioxide.
3) Circulatory system- Its function is to circulate blood in the whole body.
4) Reproductive system- Its function is to secrete gametes and allow reproduction process to occur.
5) Excretory system- Its function is to excrete waste from our body.
6) Nervous system- Its function is transmission of impulses in our body
7) Endocrine system- Its function is secretion of hormones for chemical control in our body.
8) Integumentary system- Its function is to protect internal structure from external environment.
9) Skeletal system- Its function is to provide support to the body.
10) Muscular system- Its function is to allow movement and locomotion of our body.
11) Lymphatic system- Its function is to provide defence and filter foreign substances in our body.
