Introduction

Eating disorders are regarded as a serious mental health problem, which is characterized by an unhealthy eating behavior, obsession with body image, weight, size, and food intake. The underlying common aspect in most eating disorders is a maladaptive perception of ideal body weight or image, and in order to attain that, the person engages in disordered eating habits. Eating disorders are not only prevalent in women but also in men, especially in modern times.
