Introduction:

The hand muscles are made up of intrinsic and extrinsic muscles, which move all the parts of the hand including the forearm, palm, digits, and the wrists. The intrinsic muscles have their origin and insertion points in the body part itself while those of the extrinsic have their origin outside the part where they bring movement.
