Generate 5000 digits and record the results in the accompanying table. Use a 0.05 significance level to test the claim that the sample digits come from a population with a uniform distribution (so that all digits are equally likely). Does the random number generator appear to be working as it should?

Statdisk: Select Data, then Uniform Generator.
Minitab: Select Calc, Random Data, Integer.
Excel: Click Insert function fx, then select category Math & Trig and function RAND BETWEEN. Click and drag cell down the column to generate additional random numbers.
TI-83/84 Plus: Press MATH, select PROB, then use randInt function with the format of randInt(lower, upper, n).
StatCruncb: Select Data, Simulate, Discrete Uniform.
