Explanation of Solution
The model of interpersonal communication is a process which allows interaction among employees between different levels effectively. The purpose of this model is to achieve objectives and to maintain the effectiveness of the formal organizational structure. The process involves a communicator and a receiver, where the first step is encoding and decoding.
Encoding is itself a small process of translating the communicator's idea in a way of expressing them to the receiver.A medium is selected perhaps through language either written or spoken. The communicator's information, the importance of delivering the message or idea and feelings determines the encoding process. At the end is decoding which is the receiver's play of interpreting the message sent. The meaning of the message or the idea is understood with the help of past experiences and references once the message is received.
When the communicator has sent the message, a feedback is hoped from the receiver, the last step to complete the process. Here, once the receiver has understood the meaning and importance of the message sent by the communicator, a response is expected; informational, corrective and reinforcing. A response can only be obtained when the first few steps of encoding, choosing a medium and decoding is performed. But somehow, certain processes do not need any response at all.
However misunderstandings or falsified messages can occur which may disturb the process by intervening at any point. Nevertheless, the process ends once a feedback or an action is performed by the receiver once a message is decoded.

- Solve this Accounting problemarrow_forwardGreen Grow Incorporated (GGI) manufactures lawn fertilizer. Because of the product’s very high quality, GGI often receives special orders from agricultural research groups. For each type of fertilizer sold, each bag is carefully filled to have the precise mix of components advertised for that type of fertilizer. GGI’s operating capacity is 34,000 one-hundred-pound bags per month, and it currently is selling 32,000 bags manufactured in 32 batches of 1,000 bags each. The firm just received a request for a special order of 7,400 one-hundred-pound bags of fertilizer for $210,000 from APAC, a research organization. The production costs would be the same, but there would be no variable selling costs. Delivery and other packaging and distribution services would cause a one-time $3,900 cost for GGI. The special order would be processed in two batches of 3,700 bags each. (No incremental batch-level costs are anticipated. Most of the batch-level costs in this case are short-term fixed costs,…arrow_forwardWhat is the profit margin ratio for rainbow corp?arrow_forward
