Introduction:

The process of acculturation between two different cultures act as a stressor and stress which is generated by acculturation is termed as acculturative stress. The acculturative stress is a psychocultural stress that occurs due to the cultural difference between the incoming culture (minority culture) and host culture (majority culture).

Individuals of an incoming culture characterized by reduced mental and physical health. Individuals of minority culture deal with the stress of integration, assimilation, separation, or marginalization.
