You survey college bound and find that 85% plan to liv eon campus, 35% plan to have a car while at campus and 5% plan to live off campus and not have a car. Is there an association between living on campus and having a car at college?
Psychopaths display a constellation of traits that render them a dangerous group of individuals. While psychopaths live among us, many can be found within the criminal justice system. In fact, many have a history of violent behavior in general, and sexual aggression in particular. Some research has suggested that psychopaths have difficulty distinguishing the emotions displayed in facial expressions and also attribute hostile intentions to innocuous situations. These patterns have been thought to contribute to the violence psychopaths display. In this study, the researcher presents a short video clip of a person describing a situation that is either innocuous or aggressive while displaying either a fearful or angry facial expression. Twenty psychopaths (n=20) are recruited to participate and are asked to identify their response by selecting it on the computer screen. Their response time (in seconds) is being measured in order to determine if psychopaths respond differently depending on…

Power and Associates use the proportion of owners likely to repurchase a particular automobile as an indication of customer loyalty for the automobile. An automobile with a greater proportion of owners likely to repurchase is concluded to have greater customer loyalty. A study was conducted to compare the customer loyalty for three automobiles: Chevrolet Impala, Ford Fusion, and Honda Accord. The study contained 500 respondents and the data is summarized in the Microsoft Excel Online file below. Use the spreadsheet to perform the required calculations and hypothesis test.arrow_forward
