Sexual orientation is a term used to describe the sexual attraction and affection of a person for members of either same or opposite sex. Mainly three types of sexual orientation have been observed: homosexual, heterosexual, and bisexual. Homosexual is a type of sexual orientation in which people feel sexual attraction and affection for members of one’s own sex. In heterosexual, a person is sexually attracted to the member of opposite sex.
