Contract Rate of Bonds:
Contract rate of bond also referred as coupon rate of bond is the rate of interest paid by issuer of bond to the bondholder.
Market Rate of Bonds:
Market rate of bonds is a fluctuating rate of interest, which alters with the level of risk connected with the bonds.
Bond price is the sum of current worth of the amount to be repaid at the time of maturity of bond and interest to be paid during the life of the bond.
