Summary Introduction
In translation, the mRNA molecule is translated into a protein sequence (amino acids). The mRNA, tRNA, and ribosome are considered as the three important components of the translation machinery. The mRNA serves as a template for protein synthesis. The ribosome reads the mRNA and synthesizes amino acid sequence of protein based on corresponding mRNA codons. The transfer RNA (tRNA) transfers amino acid to the ribosome for protein synthesis.
