Distinguish between a rotation and a revolution.
To explain: The difference between a rotation and a revolution.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
The motion of an object around a fixed axis or a point known as circular motion. There are two types of circular motion are: rotation and revolution.
In rotation motion object rotates around a fixed axis or a point which is located inside it. Wheel of car, fan are the examples of rotational motion.
In revolution object rotates around a external axis. Motion of earth around sun, electron revolving around nucleus are the examples of revolution
Conclusion:
Rotation is around the axis within the body and revolution is around the axis which is outside the body.
