  • Display the result.
• Define the “date_format” function.
  • Declare the required variables.
  • Check the date is in correct format.
  • Get the month as 2 character length.
  • Convert that value into integer type and validate the month.
  • Change the month number as appropriate month name.
  • Append the date with comma and year.
  • Finally return the date to the main function.
