Explanation of Solution

Pseudocode:

• The word Pseudocode is separated into pseudo and code. The term “pseudo” means fake and “code” means normal code.
• It is an informal language, which means there are no syntax rules and it could not be compiled or executed.
• Pseudocode is a language which is used to express the logics of the program. It explains the step-by-step process of each module used in the program
• After creating the pseudocode, it is directly translated into actual code.

Flowchart:

• Flowchart is a tool to represent the program in graphical structure.
• It is a diagram which represents the sequence of steps involved in a program based on the requirements.

Symbols in the flowchart:

The flowcharts are represented by three types of symbols as follows:

• Oval
• Parallelogram
• Rectangle

Oval:

Oval denotes the terminal symbol, so it appears in top and bottom of the flowchart. The starting of the flowchart is represented by the start terminal symbol and end of the flowchart is represented by the end terminal symbol.

Parallelogram:

Parallelogram denotes the input and output symbols. This symbol is depicted in the flowcharts to read the input from the user and to display the output to the user.
