(Attributes of Hybrid Vehicles) In this chapter you learned the basics of classes. Now you’ll begin “fleshing out” aspects of a class called “Hybrid Vehicle.” Hybrid vehicles are becoming increasingly popular, because they often get much better mileage than purely gasoline-powered vehicles. Browse the web and study the features of four or five of today’s popular hybrid cars, then list as many of their hybrid-related attributes as you can. For example, common attributes include city-miles-per-gallon and highway-miles-per-gallon. Also list the attributes of the batteries (type, weight, etc.).

- Description: In a hypothetical class, students take two midterms and an optional final. If a student takes the final and gets in it a better score than the lowest of the two midterm scores, then the lowest midterm score would be replaced by the comprehensive final score. The overall score will then be calculated by averaging the three test scores. If the student does not take the optional final, the overall score is calculated using only the two midterm scores. Students’ exam scores are included in the “Question1” tab in the attached worksheet. Empty data entries for the optional comprehensive final means that the student did not take the optional final. Tasks: Task 1: In Question1_Module, code a function that requires midterm1 score, midterm2 score, and comprehensive final as inputs and calculate the overall score per the description above. Task 2: In Question1_Module, code a Sub that uses the function coded in task 1 to fill column ‘I’ of the worksheet and link this…arrow_forwardDescription: In a hypothetical class, students take two midterms and an optional final. There should be methods for calculating the area and the perimeter of a shape. Create classes circle, rectangle and square to inherit from class shapes. The derived classes should override methods in the parent class for them to calculate their own areas and perimeters.arrow_forward
- Instructor note: Important Coding Guidelines: Use comments, and whitespaces around operators and assignments. Use line breaks and indent your code. Use naming conventions for variables, functions, methods, and more. This makes it easier to understand the code. Write simple code and do not over complicate the logic. Code exhibits simplicity when it’s well organized, logically minimal, and easily readable. A pedometer treats walking 1 step as walking 2.5 feet. Define a method named feetToSteps that takes a double as a parameter, representing the number of feet walked, and returns an integer that represents the number of steps walked. Then, write a main program that reads the number of feet walked as an input, calls method feetToSteps() with the input as an argument, and outputs the number of steps. Use floating-point arithmetic to perform the conversion. Ex: If the input is: 150.5 the output is: 60 The program must define and call a method:public static int feetToSteps(double…arrow_forwardprogramming language : C++ subject : object oriented programming question: We know that an Organization consists of Managers and Employees. For example, let’s say we have a class Car which has data members (variables) such as speed, weight, price and functions such as gearChange(), slowDown(), brake() etc. Now let’s say I create a object of this class named FordFigo which uses these data members and functions and give them its own values. Similarly, we can create as many objects as we want using the blueprint(class)class Car { //Data members char name[20]; int speed; int weight; public: //Functions void brake(){ } void slowDown(){ } }; int main() { //ford is an object Car ford; } Access specifies (Private, Public and protected) The body of the class contains two unfamiliar keywords: private and…arrow_forwardQuestion p .Full explain this question and text typing work only We should answer our question within 2 hours takes more time then we will reduce Rating Dont ignore this linearrow_forward
