Symbols used in the flowchart:
The flowcharts are represented by three types of symbols as follows:
- Oval
- Parallelogram
- Rectangle
Oval:
Oval denotes the terminal symbol, so it appears in top and bottom of the flowchart. The starting of the flowchart is represented by the start terminal symbol and end of the flowchart is represented by the end terminal symbol.
Parallelogram:
Parallelogram denotes the input and output symbols. This symbol is depicted in the flowchart to read the input from the user and to display the output to the user.
