Flowchart that converts temperature (Fahrenheit to Celsius, and vice versa)
Kinetic Energy In physics, an object that is in motion is said to have kinetic energy. The following formula can be used to determine a moving object’s kinetic energy: KE =1/2mv2 In the formula KE is the kinetic energy, m is the object’s mass in kilograms, and v is the object’s velocity in meters per second. Create an application that allows the user to enter an object’s mass and velocity and then displays the object’s kinetic energy. The application should have a method named KineticEnergy that accepts an object’s mass (in kilograms) and velocity (in meters per second) as arguments. The method should return the amount of kinetic energy that the object has.

Slot Machine Simulation
A slot machine is a gambling device into which the user inserts money and then pulls a lever (or presses a button). The slot machine then displays a set of random images. If two or more of the images match, the user wins an amount of money that the slot machine dispenses back to the user.
Create an application that simulates a slot machine. Figure 8-23 (on page 539 of your book) shows an example of how the form should look. The application should let the user enter into a TextBox the amount of money he or she is inserting into the machine. When the user clicks the Spin button, the application should display three randomly selected symbols. (Slot machines traditionally display fruit symbols. You will find a set of fruit symbols attached to this dropbox for your use - from the Student Sample Programs provided by the book author.)
If none of the randomly displayed images match, the program should inform the user that he or she has won…

- GPA Calculator Students are concerned about their GPA. They need to calculate it accurately every semester to monitor their progress. Develop a GPA calculator that follows the AOU regulations (AOU-OU Grade Scale) using C# programming language. The application asks the student to enter his numeric grade of each course and the course's credit hours. Accordingly, the application calculates the student's GPA after converting the numeric grade to letter grade. The GPA calculation should produce floating-point results. Display the results rounded to the nearest hundredth. You should store the letter grades of all student's courses in an array. The final grade of the student should be also calculated. Sample I/O Enter the course grade (-1 to end): 93 Enter the course credit hours: 3 Enter the course grade (-1 to end): 74 Enter the course credit hours: 2 Enter the course grade (-1 to end): 60 Enter the course credit hours: 3 Enter the course grade (-1 to end): -1 The grades of your courses…arrow_forwardwrite VB codearrow_forward99 question Reza Enterprises sells tickets for buses, tours, and other travel services. Because Reza frequently mistypes long ticket numbers, Reza Enterprises has asked his students to write an application that shows if a ticket is invalid. Your application/program tells the ticket agent to enter a six-digit ticket number. Ticket numbers are designed so that if you lose the last digit of the number, then divide by 7, the remainder of the division is exactly the same to the last dropped digit. This process is shown below: Step 1: Enter the ticket number; for example 123454 Step 2: Remove the last digit, leaving 12345 Step 3: Determine the remainder when the ticket number from step 2 is divided by 7. In this case, 12345 divided by 7 leaves a remainder of 4. Step 4: Display a message to the ticket agent indicating whether the ticket number is valid or not. If the ticket number is valid, save the number to a .txt file called “tickets.txt” and.arrow_forward
- c++ The Seri Kuala Lumpur School auditorium contains 20 rows (numbered 1 through 20) with 30 seats each (numbered 1 through 30). Write an application that allows a user to continuously enter a row and seat request until a sentinel value is entered. If the row or seat number is out of range, issue an error message. Otherwise, determine whether the seat has already been reserved. If so, display an error message. If not, then charge the user $7.50 for a ticket and display a running total of the user’s purchase. When the user enters a sentinel, display the number of seats taken and the number of seats available in the auditorium.arrow_forwardNeed help in C# language, please.arrow_forwardTrue or False: Adding more control variables will always increase the R 2 value. - C CODE: create a program that will test the user’s proficiency in solving different types of math problems. The program will be menu-driven. The user will select either addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division problems. The program will then display a problem, prompt the user for an answer, and then check the answer displaying an appropriate message to the user whether their answer was correct or incorrect. The user will be allowed 3 tries at each problem. The program will also keep statistics on how many problems were answered correctly. add functions to allow the user to select problems of varying degrees of difficulty In the next Week, you'll need to add functionality to also keep statistics on the number of correct answers vs. the total number of problems attempted.
