Current status of net neutrality in US:
- The U.S. government officially declared that net neutrality is dead. The ISP (Internet Service provider) in the U.S. is free to manipulate or limit internet access to particular websites while supporting others without net neutrality.
- The FCC has denied the calm rules which causes problems in slow and fast lane internet.
- The changes will be hard to enforce fully as a number of states have taken in their own federal laws which will override the Federal Communication Commission decision.
- Now the rules about net neutrality does not affect the United Kingdom. However, they may affect the speed of traffic flow from the servers of few U.S. based websites.
