The following is a court report: Stratford Dec. 12th. 1906 We the Grand Jury of our Sovereign Lord the King of the Sessions of the County of Perth now in Session have the honor and pleasure of making your Honor the following: That we are much impressed by your Lordship's charge and especially by its leading feature in reference to a certain class of immigrants and wish to draw the attention of the Government to the fact that such a class are not desirable in our community and there should be a stringent law to prohibit their entrance here and if not found satisfactory should be deported to the Country from which they came. We find confined in goal [sic] inmates of whom ten have received sentence. Alexander Miller under Sentence is subject to epileptic fits. We would recommend that he should be properly cared for. We have visted [sic] the House of Refuge and found all satisfactory but would recommend that some painting should be done.
