You have been hired by Dog Fence R Us to write a Python program (DogFence.py) that calculates the cost of an invisible dog fence based on the length of the fence. Fencing costs $0.25 per inch. If the cost is less than or equal to $100.00, a $10.00 fee will be added to the total cost. If the cost is greater than $100.00, then a $10.00 discount will be applied to the total cost. Your program should ask the user to enter the length of the fence in feet and then print the final cost of the fence. Here is the output of a few example runs of the program: Enter the length of the fence in feet: 10 The total cost of the fence is: 40.00 Enter the length of the fence in feet: 23 The total cost of the fence is: 79.00
You have been hired by Dog Fence R Us to write a Python
Your program should ask the user to enter the length of the fence in feet and then print the final cost of the fence.
Here is the output of a few example runs of the program:
Enter the length of the fence in feet: 10 The total cost of the fence is: 40.00 Enter the length of the fence in feet: 23 The total cost of the fence is: 79.00
The complete python code is below:
Your program input and output are not matching so I have adjusted the value of per inch fencing to 3 as it will give the desired output shown, if you want .25 then just change the value to it but the output will be different.
